Post Surgery.
It is important to keep your leg elevated to help with pain and swelling for at least two weeks. Cold therapy with ice packs can help with both swelling and pain. Please keep wounds and dressings clean and dry. If these do get wet, please contact us. If you have been placed in a splint, it is important that you wear this at all times unless you have been given specific instruction to remove it.
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation usually starts at the two week mark but this depends on the surgery you have had. Please follow your post operative instructions.
